The Benefits of a Seamless Approach to Fire Restoration

Managing fire damage involves multiple stages, from emergency response to reconstruction. Water used to extinguish fires can lead to mold growth, and disturbing materials during a fire can release hazardous substances like asbestos. These risks emphasize the importance of a provider who can deliver comprehensive restoration services, streamline recovery, and reduce costs.

That’s what happened when we were called to the scene of severe fire damage at a California university’s library. The fire broke out just days before the completion of a multimillion-dollar renovation to a five-story wing of the library, damaging over a mile of HVAC ductwork and revealing lead contamination in the soot fallout.

The ATI team meticulously cleaned the entire 165,000 square-foot building from floor to ceiling, remediating all contaminated surfaces. The team also drew on its technical expertise to restore the damaged HVAC ductwork, saving the university millions in replacement costs.

ATI’s broad expertise and highly skilled workforce ensured the library was restored to its pre-loss condition. Working with a single provider meant seamless communication and planning across all project phases and fewer delays.
