Oklahoma native Jason Rains graduated from the University of Oklahoma before starting his career in the automotive industry. After a decade he moved to Waco, Texas, where he bought into an auto dealership and met the love of his life. Before long he sold one and married the other.
The couple moved to Phoenix, where Jason accepted a role as the regional sales manager for Zurich North America. He quickly learned the insurance industry, leading a team across four states and growing a book of business exceeding $120 million. Dropping his kids off at school one day, he met ATI’s Jeff Moore. Impressed with Jason’s insurance background and leadership skills, Jeff recruited him to manage ATI’s Phoenix office, where Jason doubled revenue in three years.
Jason most recently served as the regional VP of the Central Region before joining the M&A team in 2022 as regional VP of acquisitions. Jason lives in Phoenix with his wife, daughter, son, and two dogs. A Sooner for life, he still holds his Sooners football season tickets.
