Fires pose a significant risk to commercial and multifamily properties, causing devastating damage to structures, business operations, and lives. In 2023, 118,000 nonresidential fires led to 150 deaths, 1,300 injuries, and $3.3 billion in property losses.
Prevention is key, including conducting inspections, installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and using fire-resistant materials for construction. In our latest whitepaper, we share these and more strategies to mitigate fire risks, protect your tenants, and ensure regulatory compliance.
In November 2023, ATI mobilized for an extensive response to a catastrophic fire at the historic Marine Corps Air Station Hangar in Tustin, CA. This unique structure, one of the largest wooden buildings ever built, stood 17+ stories high and was 1,000 feet long and 300 feet wide. The fire released asbestos and debris across a six-mile radius, impacting 2,500+ homes, 29 schools, 12 parks, 3 fire stations, and public rights-of-way.
With extensive experience in asbestos abatement and catastrophe response, we mobilized over 500 trained resources to help. Check out our case study and watch this video to see our role in this massive cleanup effort.
Our President and Chief Acquisitions Officer, Jeff Moore, recently wrote an article published in the Cleanfax Insider: “From Decline to Recovery: Insights into the Restoration Industry’s 2024 Outlook.” In the article, Moore discusses the trends shaping the restoration market, from fluctuating economic conditions to the growing potential for mergers and acquisitions.

This year, the ATI team went above and beyond to give back to the communities we serve. Through our CARES Ambassador Program, we donated $278,000+ to local charities, contributed 500+ volunteer hours, and supported 50+ charity locations.
During our October Days of Service, we had over 24 offices across the country, and more than 144 incredible volunteers support our national charity partner, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and numerous local organizations. Whether packing hospital supplies, collecting donations for animal shelters, delivering meals and essentials to those in need, or participating in blood drives, their inspiring acts of kindness truly made a difference. We are deeply grateful for our volunteers’ commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact in our communities.
Earlier this month, we celebrated the grand opening of our new Atlanta, Georgia office. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked an exciting milestone for ATI as we expand our presence to better serve the Atlanta community.
The event was filled with joy and festivities, including food, drinks, and games for all ages. The kids had a blast at the holiday-themed coloring station and loved snapping photos with Santa. We also hosted a raffle, with all proceeds going to support the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the event such a memorable success. We look forward to serving you from our new home!
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your trust and partnership. Your support inspires us to deliver the best in restoration and recovery.
