Preparation should be proactive, not seasonal. As hurricane season approaches and summer operations ramp up, now is the time to assess readiness, strengthen plans, and stay ahead of what’s next.
Here’s what we’re watching and how ATI is helping clients prepare.
Here’s some encouraging news: early forecasts suggest a somewhat below-average 2026 Atlantic hurricane season. Meteorologists from Colorado State University (CSU) predict 13 named storms compared to an average of 14.4. Six of those storms may develop into hurricanes. They attributed the quieter season to El Niño conditions, which are likely to increase wind shear across the Atlantic and suppress storm development.
A below-average forecast is good news, but it’s not a reason to wait and see. It only takes one storm coming ashore to have a serious impact. Now is the time for property owners and facility managers to take these critical preparation steps:

No matter what this season brings, we’re here to help you weather the storm. Register HERE for our 2026 Hurricane Season Webinar and get storm ready.

This June 17 to 19, we’ll be exhibiting at Apartmentalize 2026, the largest gathering of multifamily professionals in the country. If you’re attending, stop by booth #1449 to connect with our team and learn how to manage restoration in occupied environments while minimizing disruption.
We’ve also prepared a checklist to help you prioritize your preventive maintenance and restoration tasks. This list is geared toward multifamily properties, but it’s a practical tool that can help any facility stay ahead of risk.
Get the checklist property managers rely on to stay ahead of water, fire, and mold damage across their portfolios.

This year, we marked our 37th anniversary in a way that reflects our core values. Teams from across the company came together for the ATI Ultimate Relay Challenge, a spirited competition grounded in the same principles that drive our work every day: teamwork, safety, speed, and precision.
It was an energizing day for our ATI family and a meaningful reminder that our success is built by people who show up, work together, and get it right when it matters most.
We also unveiled our new CARES video that showcases what our values mean to us.

Artificial intelligence is changing how the restoration industry approaches estimating, but if you ask ATI’s Vice President of Estimating, Todd Van Sant, the real story is still about people.
In a recent episode of Restoration Master Class, Todd discussed how emerging tools are helping teams move faster, document more thoroughly, and make smarter decisions throughout the claims process. His perspective? Technology is a powerful asset, but it works best in the hands of people who truly know the work.

In April, Michael B., and his son, Jason, cashed in their victory in our 2025 March Madness bracket with an all-expenses-paid trip to the NCAA Championship at the Alamodome. Not a bad way to watch the final buzzer!
This year, after weeks of upsets, heartbreaks, and bracket-busting, Robert rose to the top as the 2026 champion, taking home a $1,000 gift card.
Thanks to everyone who joined our challenge! We’ll see you back in the bracket next March.
Storms don’t wait, and neither should preparation. The preventive steps you take today can prevent major disruption tomorrow.
Whether you’re preparing for hurricane season, managing multifamily property risk, or strengthening everyday readiness, we’re ready to help you move forward with confidence.
