Hurricane Season Is Coming — Are You Prepared?

With decades of experience supporting commercial clients through Florida’s most intense hurricane seasons, the ATI team knows firsthand what separates a swift recovery from total chaos.
In 2024, my team managed 8X our normal volume of claims in just 30 days after Hurricane Helene. The biggest lesson? Preparation matters. One of our clients protected their fleet, boarded up windows, cleared drains, and had a generator on standby. They reopened faster than anyone else on the block. But too many businesses don’t have a plan. They don’t know who to call, how to protect their property, or where their insurance documents are. That uncertainty slows everything down.
Before the season begins, establish a hurricane plan and an emergency response agreement with a reputable vendor. Once a storm is forecast, make sure your employees are safe and informed and protect your property. Board up windows, add sandbags around entrances, and relocate vehicles to higher ground.
Hurricanes are stressful. But if you plan ahead, follow that plan, and have a trusted restoration partner to see you through the storm, it can make all the difference.

Fort Myers Office Hits Two-Year Safety Milestone
In April, our Fort Myers office achieved an incredible feat: two years without a single safety incident. That’s not just a safety record; it’s a reflection of the discipline, culture, and care we bring to every jobsite.
As Regional Manager Thomas Snyder said, “Safety isn’t just our policy. It’s how we protect our people, your projects, and your peace of mind.” From daily jobsite walk-throughs to team-wide monthly safety huddles, our commitment to safety is built into everything we do.
The Fort Myers office celebrated this safety milestone with a team breakfast and a commemorative shirt.
Meet ATI’s New CFO, Gabe Diab
We’re excited to announce Gabe Diab as our new Chief Financial Officer. Gabe brings over 20 years of experience helping major enterprises scale with confidence and operational precision.
From managing $5B global operations to integrating 18 acquisitions, Gabe’s leadership will help us continue to grow while investing in systems and talent.
Spreading Joy at CHOC
At ATI, we believe doing good work means doing good beyond the jobsite. In April, our corporate and Anaheim Office came together to assemble and deliver 100 Easter craft kits to patients at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Thanks to our volunteers, these kits brightened the days of children spending their holiday in the hospital. It’s one of many ways we live out our values in the communities where we work.
