June 1 marks the start of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. Already, meteorologists are issuing dire warnings of an exceptionally active period, as early indicators suggest the Atlantic is primed to spawn a record number of storms.
The peak storm season is due, in part, to unusually warm sea surface temperatures, as forecasters anticipate a shift from El Niño to La Niña conditions. These conditions typically diminish wind shear, a key factor enabling storm formation and intensification. ATI will continue to monitor developments. Coastal businesses should take proactive measures now to mitigate the potential devastation these storms could unleash.

Since its founding in 1989 by Gary Moore, ATI has emerged as a pioneer in the restoration industry. Gary’s entrepreneurial spirit laid the foundation for ATI’s success. His sons, Jeff, Scott, and Ryan, joined the family business, each starting in the warehouse and ascending through the ranks.
Over the past three and a half decades, ATI has evolved into a national leader with over 2,600 employees and 70+ offices across the country.
As a nod to our 1989 origin story, ATI offices across the country held 80’s-themed parties to celebrate this milestone and show appreciation to our employees for their hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment.
