Chief Human Resources Officer

Mike Adawiya serves as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for ATI. In his current role, Mike is responsible for leading ATI’s overall human resources functions, talent acquisition, employee training and learning, compensation and benefits, and safety.  As CHRO, he has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the Company to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its over 2,200 employees. Mike also serves as a member of ATI’s Executive Leadership Team and 401(k) Committee. 

Mike has worked with leaders across ATI’s many divisions to build and manage an HR organization that reflects and supports their dynamic needs. While Mike has been CHRO, ATI has acquired over 15 companies including Mark1 Restoration, ProCare Solutions, and J&M Keystone to name a few; growing its nationwide employee population by more than 100% over a three-year period.  

Prior to joining ATI, Mike was a consulting manager with Ernst & Young’s People Advisory Services where he gained significant experience consulting across all areas of HR services including compensation, policies and procedures, and organizational design.  Mike also served as HR Manager at Toyota’s National Headquarters where he was responsible for contributing to successful team member engagement as well as compensation, performance management, HR technology, and HR communications.    

Early in his career, Mike served as a Financial Analyst with First Chicago Bank and an Economic Analyst with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA).

Mike holds a Bachelor’s in economics from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master’s in economics from California State University, Fullerton where his thesis assessed the relationship between profitability and safety in the airline industry.
